Bio
Esther An is a global authority on Sustainability. She has been an active advocate for green building and sustainability for over two decades, Esther has been instrumental in establishing CDL’s global leadership in sustainability since 1995. It is ranked top real estate company on the 2021 and 2022 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. Key ESG initiatives she has pioneered and spearheaded include:
• publishing the first sustainability report in Singapore in 2008
• building an integrated sustainability reporting framework blending nine standards, approaches, and benchmarks since 2015
• issuing the first green bond by a Singaporean company in 2017
• being the first real estate conglomerate in Southeast Asia to sign the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings in February 2021
A forerunner in embracing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Esther was conferred 2018 SDG Pioneer for Green Infrastructure and A Low Carbon Economy by the UN Global Compact. She is also a signatory for the UNGC Caring for Climate network and an executive council member of the UN ESCAP Sustainable Business Network. She sits on the boards or advisory platforms of several organizations that help accelerate green buildings and sustainable development, including World Green Building Council (WGBC), Global Reporting Initiative, GRESB Foundation Board, and UN PRI Real Estate Advisory Committee. She’s a vice-chair of WGBC’s Corporate Advisory Board; chairperson of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association’s Sustainability and ESG Committee; co-chair of the Urban Land Institute Singapore’s Sustainability Product Council, and the vice-chairperson of the Singapore Institute of Directors’ ESG Committee.

Milena, help make strategic decisions, I support companies in improving their controlling and accounting departments as well as obtaining financing (both equity and bonds). I specialise in storytelling and help the managements be properly heard and understood by the capital markets. I focus on high quality materials for stakeholders and help write equity stories, factbooks, financial and non-financial reports (ESG/CSR) as well as quarterly presentations that are useful, transparent, logical and well-designed but above all the understandable. I love sharing my knowledge and thus run trainings on valuation, financial analysis, capital markets and storytelling. I also a believer in diversity and concentrate my efforts on increasing number of women on the capital markets and finance in general. I initiated Women in Finance action in Poland and inspired many women to find their potential. I eagerly share my experiences and love being a mentor.

Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas has advised over 100 boards on improving board and/or corporate performance. A regular speaker at corporate events and international conferences, he has given over 300 presentations in 40 countries.
Colin is an experienced chairman of award-winning companies and a Professorial Fellow. He has served on various corporate and public sector boards and governing bodies of representative, professional, learned, and voluntary institutes, societies and associations, including chairman and president.
Colin has led various change management and transformation projects and undertaken many boardroom issues, attitudes, and practice surveys. Practical lessons derived from these surveys and work with entrepreneurs and boards are summarized in over 40 books and reports.
Colin's latest books are: Transforming Knowledge Management (Policy Publications, 2013), Talent Management 2 and Transforming Public Services (both Policy Publications, 2012), Winning Companies; Winning People and Developing Directors (both Policy Publications, 2007). Sunil is the Director of Global Government Affairs & CSR Africa, Global Sustainability Lead Africa. Geness has vast experience in corporate and public organisations. . In his various capacities he has also represented the South African Government and SAP on numerous occasions at high level meetings at the African Union, European Union, European Commission, United Nations, the World Bank, BRICS and other multilateral agencies. As of March 2021, Geness has been appointed to the Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on the United Nations E-Government Survey.
Geness has a passion for science, technology and innovation and began his career as a physical science and electronics teacher before he moved on to develop a wide range of experience in Government, Quasi-Government and Private sector organisations. These roles have included a policy making and implementation stint at the South African National Government, various programmes in South African provinces, a government modernisation role and subsequently a political advisory role at the State Information Technology Agency (SITA), before he was head-hunted by the German global software giant-SAP.
